The last thing you want to do is to have to adjust your bra half-way down the aisle, so plan ahead and get your bridal delicates sorted out as soon as possible: even before you’ve sorted out the dress as - trust us - the last thing you need is to discover you can’t get the right underwear once you’re already committed. Further, as all bras and basques give you a slightly different shape, your dress fitting will go a lot more smoothly if you’re wearing the right bra/corset underneath.
If you’ve set your heart on a strapless dress, you’re going to need a strapless corset or bra. This isn’t a suitable option for everyone. We’ll be completely honest here; if you’re over a G cup you’ll probably struggle to find something supportive and comfortable enough to wear for your ‘Big Day’.
For a very close fitting dress, you should think about smooth and seam-free underwear. They may not be the prettiest of bras, but they’ll give you the support you need and, most importantly, won’t upstage your dress. (There’ll be plenty of time for fancy, frilly and lacy - on your honeymoon!)
