Welcome to our Spring newsletter
So how are the New Year resolutions holding out? We decided to eat more chocolate and make more time for girly catch-ups with wine so unsurprisingly we’re managing to stick to them quite well!
Some of us are even managing to go to the gym – at least semi-regularly – and we’ve been amazed at the numbers of women exercising in ordinary bras. We can’t stand by and let such blatant bosom abuse go on so to help make strapping them down a little easier we’re slashing the price of our sports bras until May 1st. See our range here
New Masquerade ranges
Yes, it’s time to spring clean your lingerie drawers and get rid of anything baggy, saggy and grey. We’ve got two beautiful new styles from Masquerade just in. Sizes are limited so make sure you get in quick if you fancy adding a splash of hot pink or minty polka dot to your collection. And as usual, being Masquerade you get great fit and quality as well as style. See them here.
Beat the price increases
Unfortunately several of our suppliers are increasing their prices. Wonderbra and Shock Absorber actually started charging more from the beginning of the year but we’re not going to pass on the hike until May 1st. Pour Moi bras are going up in price from that date as well so stock up now and save yourself a few pounds.
New from Pour Moi
Opulence is a slightly racier collection just available. The range shown hereincludes a plunge bra, basque, short, thong and deep suspender all in black with purple trim. Feedback from our testers has been very positive.
Also the popular Destiny bra is now available in coral so if you fancy brightening up your lingerie collection at credit crunch prices, here’s your chance.
Unfortunately, it’s a last chance as we’ve just heard that Destiny and Provence are both being gradually phased out to make way for more new styles. We should be able to get stocks for a while yet but some sizes and colour combinations will disappear quicker than others so get your orders in soon if you don’t want to miss out.
Have you tried the new Faveo?
It’s undoubtedly the strangest looking product we sell, and we admit, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, we’ve had some very positive comments from those of you who have managed to master fitting it. It does take some perseverance until you get used to it but several of you have said that once it’s on it feels more comfortable than most normal strapless bras. To encourage you to experiment, we’ve put the Faveo on special offer until May 1st. Details here.
Other new strapless products
Wonderbra’s hotly anticipated new strapless bra – as seen on Colleen’s Real Women show on ITV2 a few weeks back – launches in the Summer. You can sign up to the official countdown clock on the Wonderbra site - here
Unlike most strapless bras, there’s absolutely no wiring with the support coming from revolutionary new moulding instead. They’re marketing it as being as comfortable as being held in place by a pair of hands. We think that perhaps it depends whose hands we’re talking about! Still if you’re an F cup or below it’s well worth trying. Will be available in black and skin in sizes 30-36 D-F and 38 D-DD with a RRP of £32. But for those of you who are above a G cup, there’s an even more hotly anticipated bra. Panache is bringing out Evie – the first strapless bra which goes up to an H cup. It comes in ivory, black and nude and sizes 30-38 D-H for a very reasonable £24. Home Fitting Service on the Way
In response to several queries, we’ll be launching a fitting service soon. Yes, for a small fee – refundable on future purchases - we’ll come to you if you’re in Dorset or Hampshire (and that’s the ones in England only for our overseas customers – unless you’re willing to fly us over and are somewhere warm and exotic!)
